Ribera Golf is located in the town of la Union, which is in the most southeastern part of the Murcia region. La Union was founded before Christ and has played a great part in history since Roman times.
In the past, La Union was a very industrial town specialising in mining, fishing and metal works. The goods were then transported to the nearby port town of Cartagena, where they were exported throughout Europe for sale. The industry has ceased there now, however, evidence still remains of it in the form of historical buildings. Over the years, the buildings have grown old, however, they will soon be restored to their former glory as part of an improvement programme. Two buildings of particular interest are the church in the town, which is more than 100 years old and is the same size as many cathedrals and the market building, which is also over 100 years old and is used each week for various different events. La Union has all of the amenities you will require including a medical centre, a market, a sports centre, schools, a nursery, a church, a police station a hotel and a museum.
Only a short drive away from La Union, is La Manga Beach Club, on the shores of Mar Menor, which is famous throughout Europe for it's fabulous hotel and restaurant as well as the excellent golf course.
At Ribera Golf, there will be a selection of 2 and 3 bedroom apartments to choose from. All apartments will be air-conditioned and will have mountain views. The penthouse apartments will also have private roof terraces. The whole area surrounding the properties will be landscaped with many green areas and a communal swimming pool.
